The 16 glasses in this set are welcome both around the bar and at the table. The set comprises eight 16-ounce coolers and eight 10-1/2-ounce Old Fashioned glasses. The coolers are ideal for serving tall, cool drinks like collinses, whiskey and sodas, and screwdrivers, as well as iced tea, lemonade, and water. The Old Fashioned glasses are ideal for serving liquor straight or on the rocks as well as breakfast juice. These glasses are heavy with a solid base. The are stable and don't tip. I've had these glasses for 15 years. Yes, 15 years. They still look pretty darn new, except for a bit of etching on the bottom from dishwashing. The only downside is that I can't get my hand down into the tall glass & touch the bottom to wash it ... so, it's only a dishwasher piece. Ironically, I replaced them ... not because they broke or looked bad, but out of boredom! I replaced them with the Libbey Gibraltar, which I purchased at Amazon and is open stock at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I had absolutely no breakage problems. Amazon shipped the Libbey pieces in a box that had been packaged for restaurant use. I was anticipating a break, a crack, but nothing.
