This 1-1/2-quart covered saucepan from Anolon proudly boasts these features, but adds an Autograph 2 nonstick coating inside and out to release foods easily during cleanup. Use it to make an unbeatable hollandaise sauce or to steam a small batch of vegetables. The hard-anodized aluminum construction not only heats quickly, but also eliminates the "hot spots" that plague cheaper cookware due to its thick side and bottom walls. Like many other Anolon cookware lines, Anolon Advanced cookware features the company's patented SureGrip handles, made of a combination of 18/10 stainless steel and silicone rubber and riveted to the sides for durability. The ergonomic handle sits comfortably and confidently in the hand, and its cool grip makes it easy to control on the stovetop. Each handle also features a convenient hanging loop. The cookware's clear, dome-shaped lids are made of tempered glass, letting you monitor the food without releasing the heat, flavors, and nutrients present in the pans. When you're finished cooking, the nonstick coating--which is multiply reinforced to outlast traditional coatings--will ensure superior cleanup. The cookware (including the lid) is oven-safe to 400 degrees F and should be hand washed. It carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects.

Dupont Autograph 2 has been restaurant tested by professional chefs and has been found to surpass standard non-stick coatings both in performance and durability. This cookware is coated inside and out with Autograph 2 which makes cooking without added fat very easy, and which also makes cleaning up a snap. The handle is comfortable and securely riveted and the glass lid allows you to monitor cooking without loss of flavor, heat, or nutrients. This small pot is dandy for reheating soup, boiling a couple of eggs, warming veggies, and of course for making sauces.

I recently bought a 10 Pc Anolon Advanced cookware set but it didn't come with a small pan. I bought the 1 1/2 Qt pan and I love it it completed my set. It has a great handle and I especially like the see through glass lid.
