Had some problems right from the start, the mounting bracket installs with the screw going up into the cabinet (previous ones I owned had the screw head in the cabinet with the rest of the screw outside below cabinet.) This new mounting limited the use of my cabinet because of 4 screws coming up into cabinet. Decided to try it just sitting on countertop. When the coffee brews the water drips into grounds bashet and the grounds basket would be forced open about a quarter inch, just enough to activate the sneak a cup freature. The water would collect in the grounds basket eventually spilling all over the counter. The only way to stop this from happening was to hold the basket shut while the coffee was brewing. I don't know if I just got a lemon or if this is a design problem. I returned it and bought another brand. Would have really liked the spacemaker though to free up some countertop. Hopefully they will eventually correct the problems with this model. Really disappointed it didn't work.
