Product Reviews I bought this coffee maker in June 2008 and I already have a rubber band holding it together. The basket that holds the filter and coffee is opened by a release button on the side, and like wise closes by locking into place. I do make coffee 2 to 3 times a day, but the fact that the spring in the release/catch button is already broken is a disappointment. I have a rubber band that goes around the basket and coffee maker to keep it closed so that it can brew....otherwise the basket pops open and coffee leaks everywhre. But after getting everything in order it does make a good cup of coffee.
