Not so...While the grip is very comfortable and the roller is plastic (healthy), the wire is very loose and cannot be adjusted. Also the thickness of the slice cannot be adjusted. I tried to unscrew it and tighten the wire, but no luck. It was fairly expensive, but will just have to throw it away and purchase another one (different brand and style).
