That about sums it up. These aren't "knives," they're more like razor blades. Cut through a potato...no sweat. These are just unbelivable knives. Furthermore, they are comfortable to grip, so they make all cutting chores easier. The only problem: I've already cut myself twice, once deep enough to bleed for hours. So if you get these, be careful! Of course, that's NOT a problem with the knives; rather it's my own novice cooking ability. Provided I don't remove all my digits, I'm sure I'll get the hang of these soon enough. No, these aren't cheap knives, but they are most definitely worth the price...fantastic buy or gift idea. Now, if only I could get Rachael here to help show me how to properly use these knives...........:
