For Asian cuisine, a big, well-balanced cleaver like this one serves nearly all kitchen cutlery needs. The stainless-steel blade, 8 by 3-1/4 inches, slices thinly and evenly, giving a cook control, speed, and uniformity in cutting tasks while providing enough weight for tougher jobs. LamsonSharp's PRO Walnut series stamped Kitchen Necessities feature walnut wood handles that are unusually hard and durable. (The natural color may vary from tool to tool.) The blades are either one-piece full tang or half-tang, made from hardened and tempered high-carbon stainless steel from Solingen, Germany. The Chinese Vegetable Cleaver's thick and round handle offers an ergonomic shape to provide a more solid grip and leverage. The handles are either double riveted or triple riveted with brass rivets. All LamsonSharp knives are covered under the Sharp For Life program. All LamsonSharp knife owners can have their knives sharpened by the craftsmen who made them, for life.
