The timer counts either up to or down from 24 hours by seconds, and its digital memory feature makes it ideal for repetitive timings, such as baking cookies and board game moves. After reaching zero, the timer begins counting up so you know how much time has elapsed since the first alarm beeps. Clearly marked buttons and a red function switch make the timer easy to use, and the alarm’s extra-loud staccato beeps can be heard over the din of a children’s birthday party.
