Product Review
The Aquatronic Plus is designed to weigh liquids as well as solids, for example, milk and flour, and in the same bowl if desired. Items can be weighed directly on the glass weighing platform, or in the included, oval-shaped stainless-steel pan that sits perfectly on the black base. The unusual LCD display, also oval-shaped, rises behind the weighing platform for easy viewing, and the extra-large numbers appear in a clear, see-through pane. The scale weighs up to 11 pounds/175 fluid ounces (5 kg/5000 ml) in precise 1/8-ounce/fluid-ounce (2-g/2-ml) increments. Like all of Salter's electronic kitchen scales, this one features a highly accurate strain-gauge weight sensing system, LCD display, lb/kg conversion switch, add-and-weigh function, low battery indicator, and auto zero function. The scale also has a 12/24-hour clock. Measuring approximately 8-3/4 by 11 by 7 inches, the Aquatronic Plus comes with three AAA batteries and is covered by a 10-year warranty. --Ann Bieri
