It's simple, elegant and comes with a built-in strainer at the top. It seals tight for shaking up your martini du jour and serves about four to five large-glassed martinis. It's also Oneida, and my experience has been that they make decent quality products. So far, it's proven a great purchase. I like to mix parts vodka with apple pucker and a splash of tonic water to make one of New York's famous apple martinis. Slice up a wedge of granny smith apple and plunk it into your glass and voila, you have it. The only negative I'd have to say about it is that it's sometimes difficult to get the lid off the top for replenshing and cleaning. But if it wasn't sealed tight you'd have martini all over your kitchen/living room as you shook, so it's a bearable negative. To get it open, you have to pry around the sides of it evenly with your thumbs until it pops loose. Otherwise don't question the cheap price. This is a great deal, and a great martini shaker.
