Product Reviews I have owned four other thermal carafe coffee makers of various types and quality. I found this one to be equal to or better than my previous purchases. Thermal carafe coffee makers keep the coffee fresh by not "baking" the coffee which retains the good flavor. Coffee quality was good, coffee temperature was also adequate, set up for brewing was reasonable, I saw the open/close lid markings to be obvious. My wife liked this unit because of the stainless steel design. If you expect your coffee to be "Dunkin Donuts" hot, you'll be disappointed with any home thermal carafe coffeemaker.
