This is the smaller of two sizes of stovetop espresso maker by Bodum, measuring 7-1/2 inches tall and 3-3/8 inches in diameter at the base. The 12-ounce capacity pours approximately one large mug or a two smaller cups of coffee. After use, the espresso maker can be unscrewed and every piece placed in the dishwasher or quickly washed by hand. Allow to dry completely before reassembling. I love the design of this espresso maker, so I bought one. Before even getting to use it, the handle broke. I requested a replacement, and the same thing happened. So, I got to return two of them, fun fun. Bodum can do better, and they will. But they are going to have to put some work in this one. Meanwhile, you have my recommendation!
