Brews a perfect pot of coffee and keeps it nice and hot in its strong, durable double walled insulated carafe. There is no continuous cooking/burning from a hot plate like in other coffee makers. First thing that you're gonna do when you open it is to caress that carafe all inside and out, just marveling at it's sturdiness and quality construction! Having said that, the rest of the body quality doesn't keep up quite as well as the carafe...but what the heck. Here's the best part! Not only do I brew coffee, I throw in a bag of green tea (or any other tea bag) depending on mood and enjoy hours of tea refills!! Now where did I set down my book?...
